Sponsorship Payments

Our project seeks to provide needy and talented orphans in Dzivarasekwa with the means to sustainable and long-term basic education and welfare.

 Sponsorship payments for 2011 are as follows:

Primary school/Grades 1-7 €250

State secondary day school/Forms 1-4 & 5-6 (O & A levels) €340

Pinewood private secondary day school/Forms 1-4 & 5-6 (O & A levels) €500

Secondary boarding school/ Forms 1-4 & 5-6 (O & A levels) €600

Shelter sponsorship €250

Special school for the disabled (Batsirai & St Giles) €400

Tertiary education from €600 to several thousand euros

The sponsorship payment covers school fees, school uniforms and sportswear. It also entitles the child to one daily hot meal, use of the library, and extra lessons in English and Mathematics. We also see to basic medical treatment and cover the cost of special activities.

Sponsors can also remember their children with letters and small packages, which Society members take with them when they go to Zimbabwe. Such gifts are gratefully received and bring a lot of joy.
